I made the mistake of getting more than one and ended up with a tank full of baby snails that none of my fish could touch. My loaches loved to eat snail but these ones have that hard cap they can pull over the top of the gap in the shell that would stop them being eaten.

I like the look of it... it'd make a fine tank friend... if it's able to be amphibious it's also a hazard because you need to make sure the damn thing doesn't roam off and leave the tank heh.. had a shrimp problem once... damn things climbed the oxygen pipe and the smell let me know they were dead out of water... I have that fear with the rope fish because they're known to jump out of their tanks.
