I'm honestly barred from legally entering Canada, I'm not concerned that I might want to go there.

I was charged with a DUI back in the day. I can get it expunged if I pay $1500 since it was my only offence ever, but the only net benefit is for job applications and going to Canada. I don't really foresee either of those right now.
