Don't care who the signs were for, driving a car into someone lawn is destruction of property. Justice served.

I'll never understand the thought process behind those who think it's ok to damage what they don't agree with/dislike.

When I was younger a neighbor of ours got tired of people driving across his lawn. (He lived on a corner that would get backed up with people turning left.) He dug a narrow ditch maybe eight inches wide and a foot deep about two feet from the border of his property. Sure enough some douche bag wrecked the front end on his car and went berserk. He called the cops and when they showed up the guy went after them, too. I forgot how many tickets they gave the guy but it was funny as hell to watch.

Not quite as interesting, but growing up we had a similar issue. The property was a corner lot, plus one side had an alley that bridged 2 streets--surrounded on 3 sides. Well, the garbage truck came down the alley and turned onto the street beside the house. Where they turned there was a strip of land about 6 feet across between the alley and the driveway. In that strip, where it met the road, was a storm drain where water always built up and needed cleared.

Well, the garbage truck kept running over and closing that storm drain, which the borough had to keep repairing. On top of that, it was eroding a considerably amount of land on our property. My dad, after years of fighting this with things like reflectors and such, got a couple big fucking rocks to sit where the property used to be. If you missed that rock, you'd miss the storm drain opening. The truck drivers could no longer move or run these over, so the problem stopped.

Eventually they changed the route to NOT use the alley and grass has since grown well out past the rocks where it used to. The drain is also now of the type that you can run over without causing trouble, which would have made all the frustration irrelevant had they just done that in the first place instead of an open, ribbed galvanized pipe.

I wonder if the garbage men had anything to do with the route change. "Hey. We can't make the turn onto that road anymore because of these big friggin rocks!"
