I'm thinking the best middle finger to the United States would be to have a one time, no questions asked, minimally taxed legitimization of all the unlaundered drug money in Mexico to make up for economic damage that Trump's tax may do and cozy up with China similar to Brazil to replace and increase foreign investment in Mexican infrastructure and trade.
Trump respects power and financial savy, tell them if they create the 20% import tax they will impose their own 20% import tax and use the money for nuclear weapon research. This would give two strong reasons trump will respect against imposing the tax.
i think its more likely they would threaten to station other countries' nukes than start a program of their own. a counter tax will probably happen but i doubt it would be enough to force a reaction from the white house.

its nice that you think 40% of the nation is cancer but in 4, 8, 12, 16 years... at some point democrats will be back in power. presumably (hopefully) it wont be the same brand as it was the last 8 years but whether you like it or not it, will happen. to think that because trump is president, a golden age of conservatism has dawned on america that will never end is foolish as is completely casting away neighbors we disagree with. personally, i'd rather have a puppet south of our border than a new cuba.
