That sounds about right. They also shook and vibrated a lot because the props were so far out in front. Instead of being connected directly to the engine, they had to use extension drive shafts that were hard to balance.

I have an old original xbox flying game in which you can unlock this monstrosity. I recall it was quite maneuverable but had a very high stall speed combined with a low top speed. Excellent gun platform though.
I'm not sure how much of that corresponded with this prototype though.
