Misleading title.

A large group of trespassers stormed the capitol building. Unfortunately, not enough of them were shot.

It doesn't matter what they believed happened during the election, their actions today are reprehensible. This nation is ruled by laws, not mobs. Stupidity has now set a precedent for mob violence whenever some snowflake feels bad about an election.

They should be ashamed of themselves. More, they should be thankful that I am not tasked with doling out justice.

This isn't new unfortunately. Cities were burning 6 months ago in "mostly peaceful" protests. This was the right's turn to play the same stupid game and see if the State stands down. But obviously it won't when it's center of power is being attacked.

The corporate elite and politicians are our enemy. While I won't claim to support this crowd in DC, I certainly won't defend the elite and the State or shed a tear for them. They are not victims.

As protestors took selfies inside the chamber and senate offices, Trump came under increasing pressure from allies to condemn the violence. He tweeted “Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue.”

At the end of the day, it's about power, and politicians serve to preserve the interests of the elite. An attack on the the literal heart of the State can, therefore, not be tolerated.

Hope you all enjoyed the political theatre of your politicians acting like they care about you.

Only the House of Representatives was intended to serve the people. The Senate was intended to represent the states but that was changed by the second worst amendment to the Constitution. Can we please stop electing populists now?
