A giant spider spotted in the Hoosier State is giving some locals nightmares after an Indiana man shared pictures of the large insect online Tuesday.

Are they trying to be anti intellectual at Fox or are they just that bad at their job.

Beware of naturally occurring fauna in their normal range, I guess. Slow news day?

Still, though, that's a big fucking spider.

People go ga-ga over big spiders ... just a human interest story ... fluff, nothing more. That's why I posted to s/nature

Ah, I didn't even notice the sub--I saw "foxnews.com" and made a dumb assumption.

For anyone else that's interested, I think that's probably Dolmedes tenebrosus.

I would scream as I repeatedly stomp on that beast if it came anywhere near me.

Many, many have a serious 'hate' thing going when it comes to spiders. For me, it's snakes - LOL
