The best expression I'd seen of this idea previously was "The pharmaceutical industry doesn't want to sell you cures; it wants to sell you treatments."

It is also why I'm skeptical of the Diversity cult and radical environmentalism.

Moderna has not tried to cure a single thing during its existance. The mRNA tech is only used as a therapy, originally to help cancer patients. After 8 years or so of failed products, they decided to make 'vaccines' instead, which led to the CDC redefining the word 'vaccine' from something that gives immunity to just something that offers protection.
