It's a fairly light article.
But there are darker elements to this. That flag isn't just decoration or tradition. Something happened.
Secret US ops that are not publicized after being completed are usually sketchy and often illegal. Almost always an upset to world stability, and often involves replacing a democracy with a brutal dictatorship.

Some people seem to think it might be involved in North Korea's willingness to talk; the photo was taken 10 days after their last nuclear test.

Well, if they've been reading the script upside-down, that sounds good to me.
Seeing them destroy a dictator instead of creating one would make me happy.

Why not both? Destroy a dictator and install a new one. Maybe Kim's sister.
