I have not grown a thing since about 2017. Either age, child-rearing, too much liquor or too many hobbies. I have forgotten just about everything.

This year I am growing hot peppers and I thought I would start a grow log here for advice and to reclaim the craft.

First question for all is, can I transplant these seedlings to their permanent grow-boxes outside OR put them in a bigger pot and temper them outside first?

They're in a large enough container. Getting much larger than that would cause significant transplant shock if their roots spread out anymore. I have 2 month old tomatoes i'm about to plant outside and the largest are only in 3 inch peat pots. Nightshades can do fine at that size for several months.

I put my best three outside to temper for a bit.

My grow light unexpectedly stopped working 3 days after I started hardening my seedlings, so they're getting a crash course in outdoor living. The soil just isn't warm enough to plant.

Ye Gods. Here in Louisiana, our soil is relatively boiling. I wonder about my grow lights. In the supposed ad, they make it look like in the ad that you can put them across the room from the plant. But I got them pretty dang close, in their face.

Tried an experiment on one of the excess chocolate scotch. Planted it in an old Bonzahi pot. I wonder if it will go bonchi
