The excess carbon from that natural material actually led to a massive nitrogen bloom which caused a ton of blossom rot for the first 3 months. The nitrogen finally levelled out and my maters are smaller, but I only lost 1 this last week compared to the usual 12-20

This was also after we used 3 for dinner (taco Sunday!) and I gave 3 nice ones to my parents. Also harvested 7 banana peppers for dinner.
