I'm hoping to make this post as personal encouragement. This is what I want to achieve. I will be using this post as a benchmark in reference to updated posts.

I hope to give quarterly updates as to where I am. There should be a few good posts throughout the year on this sub.

2019 has been a great year for me. It was slow, but without it I wouldn't be able to accomplish my 2020 goals. I have a good groundwork established for what I want to achieve for the following year.

The first goal is to make NZD$20,000/quarter. It sounds insane when I mention it like that. In Q4 2019 I made a gross income of around $15,000. I don't see why it wouldn't be impossible to scale up and keep that trend going. I am currently reinvesting back into my business, doing the Amazon and not drawing a profit, yet. All up for 2020 I want to make NZD$80,000 before tax. I'm astonished at such a goal but I feel it's possible. There are plenty of opportunities around, it's just a matter of grabbing them.

The second goal is to get enough for a house. I am a saver and my cost of living is low. Couple that with a nice $80,000 income I would ideally like to try save an ambitious $50,000 after-tax. A sizeable portion of this would be for a house. Worst case scenario would be to have at least 20% of a deposit but I would rather have a healthy buffer there just in case anything happens with the market. I would also like this to be my first house out of a glorious portfolio of investments in the long-term.

The third goal is to grow my YouTube channel to 5,000 subscribers. I established the channel in December and I'm currently at 14 subscribers & 5 videos uploaded. I believe that if I stay persistent, improve the quality of the videos and really push myself I can achieve a moderate 5,000 subscribers. Though I expect this will take its time. But I am looking forward to the uphill battle.

The fourth goal is to finally go on a trip. I'd like to get out a bit more and explore the place. Where is not yet decided. I have a few questionable locations in my mind (look where I post the most). I would like to see some Asia, America or the South Island. I don't have a date set for when I would go. I don't even feel ready yet for a holiday as I feel I'm in a good mood with my work but at the same time I would like to see more.

Next update will be on March 31!

Not a good goal because youtube is actively changing to a subscription model. Small channels wont have any benefits soon. Maybe try alt video sites.

Also, hit me up if you want to come play in the snow with cats

As long as the cats aren't lions that sounds like fun.

I want a Lynx, but not a declawed or defanged one. That would be a fun pet to hunt in the snow with
