these are obviously using ballasts... the shape is to accommodate the different uses it's intended for... as for the rest little tug boats probably move it around more than it thrusts itself. It's purpose is placement imo

Why are there such awkwardly shaped tugs (?) working with such a massive creation? Those thin heavily vertical ships look like it takes a lot to just keep them afloat
