For example, in /s/WoW I could just have the patch number ex: 7.2 and another flair ex: PTR. Then when people make a post, they can label it correctly simply by combining the 2 flairs. 7.2 PTR. Instead of me making a specific flair for that.

Would have to be optional. It could be annoying for certain subs. But most of the flairs for /s/WoW are pretty short. A lot of occasions the multi-flair would be relevant. Reduces how much I have to try to think of all the combinations that might be needed for the sub. :D

we have an option (kinda built) that could allow for a user (or a mod, if you wanted mod only flairs) to just put any text they wanted. So "7.2 PTR" or "7.2.1.0.5 PTR" or whatever. The mod team wouldn't have to keep making new ones.

That would work. I could lay out guidelines/expectations for flairs.

The thing I like about allowing for a combination of created flairs, is it keeps things more standardized. People wouldn't have to try and figure out what to write for the flair as much. They look at the list of options and choose the 2 or 3 that make the most sense.

But a blank slate would do the trick as well.
