An annual contest of chance, skill or both on which users can bet up to all of the phuks they received that year and double it. the actual number of phuks given/received remains the same but users get an experience boost from a badge that shows off how much they bet/won in a particular year. each year gets a new badge and serves as an anniversary badge for phuks (and maybe there's an included automatic bonus and/or consolation prize of 100xp or something for being around for a year.)
gives a way for those desperate for internet points a way to catch up but not too quickly. gives phuks an annual badge to celebrate the anniversary of the site.
we'd have to make a new token/credit/score number. You could still earn one per point, but we need to keep the xp system in place because a few different things depend on it. BUT that new number could be used for "tipping" giving extra points to someone for their post, or gaming and wagers, sports outcomes. As long as we dont include actual money. (We're not setup to be a gambling website from our host)
we could do xp bonuses for user submitted contests, like design a logo for a sub. Submit entries to mods, mods make a poll post, winner gets the XP bonus, while the poll is going, people could donate more points to the pot
