So half life 2 on VR, I fly RC aircraft and wearing bulky box goggles is IMO low quality and if you wear glasses a no go. Box goggles can be useful for people with extremes of IPD (Interpupillary distance) which can make it impossible to focus on the 2 small screens in slimline goggles. However, people with different levels of sight in each eye will need to use slimline goggles with ‘diopter’ inserts. But why would anyone want to buy half life 2 again.
