I used to d/l no DVD/CD cracks because I couldn't find the manual or scrap of paper. DRM has always been anti-consumer.

About a year ago I got an itch to play a command and conquer game.

Unfortunately since 2009, i had used the allotment of 3 downloads. So I was forced to call EA's customer service line. Those mother fuckers wanted proof of purchase and a game (that was gifted) from 9 years ago.

Long story short, I ended up paying 20 bucks for the whole C&C discography just to play that one game. (Also 3 titles are incompatible with anything past windows 7)

Fuck DRM.

Rockstar is the worst. I used to love GTA games, but their microtransaction shit makes me really fear for the quality of any sequels.
