As IT recruiters, a lot of them know almost zero about the technical stuff, that's totally fine, I don't expect them to understand any programming language anyway. But the thing I'm ranting about is, many of them don't even seem to understand human language, basic human language.

I ended up blocking a lot of numbers.

I often get those talking like "this role 40/hr, can you do it?" I said, that rate is lower for me, I'm not interested. They call, text, email over and over again: "40 per hour, can do it? 40, 40, 40, can you do it? why can't you do it???" One of them was more hilarious: "ok, no 40, how about 41?" smh...

When I clearly stated "I'm not interested" or "this position doesn't fit me," they still harass me with the same job endlessly. I can't speak for the rest of this society, but at least in the recruiting market, does anyone ever get what they want simply by pestering people like this?

There is no way to communicate.

Does anyone of you personally know any people like this in real life? The only skill they seem to have is pestering people with the same nonsense over and over again. In this world is there any society, or any culture, in which people would normally interact with each other in this style, and one can actually succeed by solely applying this "skill"?

Some others of them are not that terrible, but still don't have any clue. They don't know anything, but they like to ask "can you talk about your background/experience?" Well, you have my resume in front of you, if you look at it (which isn't long at all) and still no clue what type of SWE I am, even if I have the patience to talk about my background on the phone with you, you probably still won't understand anything, so just a waste of time.

I just tell them that their info is wrong and that I'm not qualified yet. As soon as I finish my part time online classes I'll let them know.. they stop asking
