The Fiat Mephistopheles is a one-off Ernest Eldridge creation from 1923 that combined a Fiat racing car chassis and Fiat 6-cylinder, 21.7 litre aeroplane engine. Eldridge broke the World Land Speed Record July 1924 by driving at 146.0 mph (3648×2736)
