Those kind of companies lose a lot of talent being such a$$holes (IMHO). The vast majority of good employees don't need a college degree or a ton of experience. They only need basic skills and a desire to learn and excel. For the vast majority of jobs out there, a halfway intelligent guy or gal with the motivation to succeed can easily be handed a job, and learning as they go along, become a lifelong asset to a business.

I tried to break in to the field of data entry. Many employers misunderstood the definition of entry level, by requiring several years in various fields. Even with exaggeration I never did get my foot in the door.
