Just finished reading the Red Dwarf books and figured I would give a short review for any Smeg Heads here.
It was quite interesting reading these as they were written during the first season. However a common theme I kept noticing is how they reused some plots and jokes right up through the third season with the book ending with the Polymorph plotline.
It was interesting to read the back story of how rimmer and lister first met. And how lister ended up of the Dwarf to begin with.
The book stuck mostly with the show but diverged sometimes quite drastically at points. Particularly towards the end.
Over all it was quite an interesting read even though I already knew the punchline to some of the jokes.
8/10 Will read again some day.
