I agree. I've thought so for ages. It's an organization that sucks up billions from it's member states, the US being the largest contributor, and does little or nothing more than lavish that money on it's otherwise unknown bureaucrats.
On this story though, the vote is in the UN Security Council where the US is a permanent member and has veto power. So this is a nothing burger. Bring it up ... we veto ... a gesture by the UN just for the sake of writing an anti-US story.

That's a good point and I hadn't really thought of that before. Pushing faux issues in front of the UNSC probably makes great press.

The UN is 100% against the sovereignty of its nations. I would honestly love if Trump pulled the US out of the UN entirely.
