In total, it took 25 hours for the flag to be taken down, a new record. It looks like it was not captured, but taken down by FACT after the police became concerned about people trespassing and possibly falling off the roof. No pic was provided of the captured flag, but it was definitely taken down.

At least 3 people managed to somehow scale the building and get onto the roof. One of them said that the flagpole had been secured with zipties and they spent the next 30 mins fucking around trying to get some scissors to get it down. Then the stream went offline and nobody had a clue what happened. The next update was a picture from the ground of a flagpole with no flag, and a picture of 3 police cars outside the building.

Nobody knows if they escaped, though I suspect they will eventually be caught as Liverpool is full of CCTV cameras.

The guy who runs the HWNDU Facebook page tapped out. Shia hasn't said anything about it since it happened.
