This little dudette hasn't eaten in weeks and we think a change in environment will reduce stress. With all the activity in a pet store, especially weird people poking and prodding the glass, it can be stressful for animals. Even being in our back room can have a lot of unusual activity and noises that can stress an animal out. So we are hoping a new home will help her relax for a bit.

And before you ask, yes we are monitoring temperature levels, humidity, and feeding her fresh greens. She gets weekly bath's and we try to give all animals the best care possible. But I think the glass cage, and inconsistent activities of the pet store life just doesn't jive with this Russian Tortoise.

But I just want to say, I freaking love my new job.
