Every time #StandWithUkraine registers with a search indexer, it shows a trend of support for a country that was invaded by an aggressor.

If you dislike it, I encourage you to step outside, face into the wind, and then pee up a rope.

Since my detractors seem to have forgotten what happened during the 20th Century, never bothered to study it, or simply don't have the mental capacity to understand the situation, they have no basis for understanding my vehement support.

The subject is very complex, but the Soviet motivation centers on one thing: Protect the Motherland at All Costs.

Putin is 100% Soviet Union. If you doubt that, please, add me to your block/ignore list and never speak to me again. There isn't enough time left until the heat death of the universe or words simple enough to explain what's happening in terms you'll understand.

His Short Man Syndrome and the Russian cultural paranoia have created another Stalin.

Putin is doing his best to revive the soviet union using their traditional Russian Bogey Man: The Germans. This time, in the guise of neo-nazis. Do you find it odd that there is a neo-nazi brigade fighting along side the Soviet invaders?

So, Nazis in Crimea, Nazis in the Ukraine. What about the Soviet's Nazis? It's all a sham. The Soviets will not stop unless they have their faces kicked in. N.B., Soviet post-WWII history.

If the Soviet was so hot, why aren't their former client states providing, if nothing else, verbal support? Do you see Poland or Romania or Bulgaria offering support to the Soviets? Nope. Only Belarus's president supports them: Primarily because he's afraid of what 30,000 Soviets troops stationed in his country could do.

The Soviet's only supporters are the world's bad actors receiving Soviet support.

It's time to get off the fence, sunshine. You got a pair?

This is probably a troll post, but I usually take the bait because I like to assume all people are are coming from a point of authenticity and sincerity. Getting it wrong and getting trolled is a better outcome than falsely attacking somebody.

You're right that Putin is bad and that nobody internationally supports him. Hell, even nominal "allies" like China are sitting this one out. That says a lot. How quickly all the former Soviet Eastern European nations quickly fled from the Russian sphere of influence also says plenty.

I think what most people don't like about your posts are that cringy "thoughts and prayers" and /s/copypasta tier posts that don't really help. I've seen tons of Ukranian flags appear within 2 weeks of the invasion and I'm just thinking, hmm, these people 1 month ago couldn't place Ukraine on the map, name a city in Ukraine, or tell you anything about the history of the region are now "experts" in Eastern European history, military theory, and Kremlinology. And they want us to start WW III by starting shooting down Russian planes. It's just very insincere and reeks of being a follower of whatever the talking heads on the TV are saying. Not to mention I'm sure all those flags are made in China, so by "showing support" you're literally enriching our enemies. The real thing people can do to help would be to reduce consumption, energy usage, and stop buying crap made in China so that we don't enable these kind of tyrannical regimes. And just get your life together and help build a strong community. These are all great things to do regardless, but unlike virtue signaling they take real work. Also unlike virtue signaling, they have real, tangible benefits too, however.

You'll be pleased to know that the CIA et al will be supplying the Ukrainian resistance with weapons, material, and intelligence about conducting asymmetrical warfare that will make this a fiasco for Russia. They're pretty good at doing these kinds of things, and they have a solid history of running these kinds of operations whether they are popular domestically or not, so they don't need to see Ukrainian flags or hashtags in our profiles or anything like that. They don't care if you or most other countrymen support this. They'll do it regardless and have been on both sides of insurgencies for a solid 100 years of experience. We should know, we've been on the receiving end of insurgencies for the last 20 years, so we have lots of knowledge about what works and what doesn't. History shows time and time again that a foreign power and empire gets wrecked and ruined when it tries to occupy a people who don't want it there. This will come at great cost and loss of life for both sides and take much time, however.

Truly this was a devastating miscalculation by Putin that will lead to disaster for both Ukraine and Russia, but in even 10 years Russia will be completely demoralized and relegated to complete economic ruin. The writing was nearly on the wall for that anyway with their resource-extraction economy and declining demographics, but this blunder really accelerated things. Their military has been exposed as completely corrupt and incompetent, and still after a supposed decade of pouring massive amounts of money for modernisation, they're mostly running broken Soviet-era hardware. They'll be an international pariah like a bigger Iran or North Korea. Maybe China will bail them out or put them on a leash, but what an embarrassment that would be. Some good "standing up to the West" only to be a vassal to China. If I were Russian, I'd be absolutely furious at the harm he is doing to the Russian people and at the same time hearing him speaking of how much love he has for the Russian people, but this is really straight out of the despot 101 playbook of how they behave. Dark years ahead for both Ukraine and Russia, unfortunately.

I studied 20th century history. I'm astonished at how, after the last 80 years of soviet lies and treachery, so many people can believe that the current russian government is anything but the Soviet Union arisen. I'm the daughter of a Marine. My mother and foster family instilled loyalty and duty in my bones. I will not shut up because some people feel uncomfortable hearing about nasty evil things being perpetrated when isn't in their own backyard. If you find my posts cringe-worthy, perhaps a deeper self-examination your reasons is in order.

I'm not proposing strikes into Russia (I'm not looking to end the world). But wiping the skies free of their aircraft within the UA? Yes!

I've known the location of the Ukraine for many years. Check the distribution of russian and former warsaw pact immigrants in the US. NY is fully loaded! There're probably half a million of them. Maybe more. I've known Ukraine girls since I moved to jersey. You can't swing a cat on the subway without hearing russian or ukranian.

I don't know what official sources send. I know what we sent. I know what what's shipping next week and the week after that. I wouldn't trust the CIA to do it right. Nor would anyone who had to deal with CIA-provided US equipment used against us in Afghanistan or suffered from their comic actions in South America and Cuba. I believe my money is better spent funding war material shipments and personnel movements made outside the purvey of the US. History will repeat itself every single time.

Also, I think it's a mistake to casually dismiss internet trends. During WWII, radio and film media filled the roll of socially abusing the enemy and showing disdain for their military capability, leadership, and government. Move forward with the times. Picture yourself at the end of a strained supply line. If it were me, I'd rather know that people are behind me rather that a suit reading script. Give your attitude towards modern propaganda a re-think.

Seeing the trends is good for UA morale and rough on the soviet troops. Their intelligence services sure aren't missing it.

Conscripts have always been a sore point in the soviet army. Unfortunately, they have the mindset to shoot dissenters, so they play along. There aren't enough of them willing to aid their leaders to a rapid, forced retirement.

Also, copypasta? Not really, I copied the text from the Dear Friends of Russia site:

Dear friends from Russia,

before you receive a letter from the army, please consider leaving the country.

Renunciation of military service, when crimes are committed in the name of the Motherland, is not something unpatriotic. Even if you are just a tool in Putin's hands, you are personally responsible for all your actions.

Save your humanity and your dignity and refuse to serve in this war. Anything is better than losing your self-respect.

You will be supported in Europe, in Germany you can apply for asylum and stay. Anything is better than this war.

I didn't post that to be helpful to you, I posted it on the off-chance that someone will read it and skip out on them. Every little bit helps. I'd rather they fall apart from rot than have to go in and put them down.

Sincerely, Anne.

Dont misconstrue downvotes with disapproval of your cause. Some people probably just remember you saying a bunch of rude shit in chat before you deleted your account and stormed off a couple months ago and now you're back openly talking about how you're abusing and manipulating our site as a personal soapbox to push your activism. How 'bout you chill out.

I departed after receiving abusive remarks from someone who thought it was cool to send unasked for sexual things to married women.

It's easier to block and ignore them and I'm sorry I didn't think of it at the time. I'd adding them as they screw up.

Didn't you start a sub to talk about your deviant sexual activity?

I started a sub that discusses areas sexual wellness.

But that is obviously not something you're capable of understanding on an adult level or you wouldn't have phrased it as though you're a 100 year-old Lutheran lay preacher.
