The most successful piece of propaganda in history was the idea that the tolerant did not have to tolerate intolerance and it changed a group of people from being one of inclusivity and cooperation and help to one of hatred, violence, murder, destruction, and disinformation.

They pulled down Confederate statues and put one of George Floyd, a known criminal and drug addict, up in its place. They didn't stop there and continued on with Lewis and Clark statue.

They say that such statues belong in museums and cemeteries yet pull them down out of cemeteries and get unstable when people won't listen to them.

They made deliberate and flagrant attempts to destroy anything not of them and in so doing convinced an entire segment of the population that they could not be trusted or listened to but yet whine that Republicans will not work with them.

They say "#NotAllMuslims" when they commit atrocities yet say "#AllRepublicans", "#AllGunOwners," "#AllOldWhiteMen" and so on. (Edit: Let's not forget "#IBelieveHer" unless it's a democrat getting accused)

They get mad when a piece of bacon or ham is left on the steps of muslim houses of worship yet cheer on the burning of churches in Canada.

They scream "punch a Nazi every day" (of course "Nazi" is a birdcall for "Republican") yet have the gall to be shocked when Republicans talk about "Civil War" as if they thought they would get away with anything including calls for violence and murder and thought that everyone would just silently take every bit of violence they dished out.

They accuse people who don't want violence at all of being the worst Nazis while ignoring the quote that talks about people who don't want violence having nothing to lose when they finally have to resort to violence because they have effectively surrendered "their soul" and can't be broken further and thus drink deeply of the cup of violence.

They tried to burn down the city of Washington DC during Trump's inauguration but cry and screech about what happened on January 6th and then entirely deny or get enraged when you remind them that not only did it happen but democrats were actually worse because they targeted businesses and civilians who had nothing to do with any of it while the "stupid Republican Nazis" at least had enough sense to target politicians.

They get rightfully angry at an act of sedition on January 6th but refuse to acknowledge that "autonomous zones" by necessity must remove all legal authority and governance and is an act of sedition. Further, they get angry when anyone compares the two.

Yuri Bezmenov clearly and in no uncertain terms indicated that the principles of the democratic party were used in countries to destabilize them. He called them "useful idiots." The Red Scare in the 50s included radical democrats with communists in their hunt and now we see why.

No, civil war is indeed coming and all because democrats completely abandoned what made them what they were and embraced violence, lies, destruction, and corruption in levels unseen for many years.

The Bill of Rights was worded extremely specifically for a reason and then ratified because these people had seen extreme political ideologies and what the extremes were. We've circled around and it would not surprise me one bit if we have civilians hunting each other down within the next 10 years.

And all because of propaganda.

I can't understand why you bozos continue to define what's best according to some stupid assed party name.

You're all engaged in one of the largest circular masturbation events on Earth, second only to organized religion as a method of separating fools from their money.

Do you want things to change? Re-register as an independent. Think about it. If the party membership roles were decimated, and those lost members all went independent, they'd see a need to re-think what really matters.

Does anyone in all honesty believe that party-line voting works? Do you think the every clown in DC believes in every party-line vote they make?

It's really amazing that the fall-back fallacy these days is that if you see someone criticize one end of a spectrum, it's just assumed that they're part of the other end. But, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, right?

People seem to buy that Republicans are the 'good guys' of the right. Most Republican politicians are part of the uniparty and just throw you under the bus slower than their Democrat partners. It is shocking how they are called Nazis when they generally just Democrats from 10-20 years ago. Progressive propaganda is extremely effective and harmful

lulz, all y'all butthurt but you can't prove me wrong. That's truly delicious and proves every one of my points.

I think some of us just have better ways of spending our Sunday than forming articulate rebuttals for your stupid tucker Carlson talking points and strawman arguments.

So you have nothing and are, like I said, angry that anything is mentioned at all.

You're proving my points better than I ever could have.

Thank you.

Believe what you want because frankly I don't give a damn, since I don't value your opinion on basically anything.

I'm just turned off by the overblown declaration that its "the most successful piece of propaganda in history". And then we're presented with a laundry list of gripes that, while valid on their own, don't tie in very well with the thesis. There is a lot of history, and the tolerance paradox has only been able to fester for 9ish decades.

Naturally the most successful propaganda in history would be the lie believed by the greatest number of people. Whatever it is, you and I probably believe it just as much as the democrats.

You don't think turning an entire political party into a party of radicalized violence isn't a master piece of manipulation designed to have the voters at each other throats? Given the current population of the US, that's an insane number of people. And, like I said, people who don't violence at all are treated as enemies.

We're talking about people here. Peace is the exception, not the rule. The hard part is preventing radicalized violence. Byzantine politics was radicalizing along the lines of everyone's favorite chariot teams up until Justinian stepped in and slaughtered a few thousand.
