Nice view of some traditional homes from the 1700s and their gardens.

We had a lot of fun watching the reenactments of the cannons and how people loved back then. The kids had a great time. I have fond memories of visiting the Fort when I was a kid and I love sharing the experience with my kids.

That sounds like a great time.

I’m sure seeing how people LOVED back then was very educational.

I like visiting the old-style towns like that. It's been a long time since I've been to one though, maybe like 13 years or so now. I should look to see if any are still active near me.

They are a blast. The last one we visited was a lumber camp. I forget where it was, but that shit was cool. Everything was interactive, and this was before the China virus so you could touch almost anything and wear their tradition clothes. Sadly, things were kind of limited and the Fort lacked some of the hands on stuff I remembered. But the kids had one hell of a great time.
