We were reading last night after dinner and PJ was on the floor between us playing with toys. I looked up to say something, and PJ's standing there with nothing to nearby to pull himself up. He tottered/walked to my husband as though he'd been doing it right along laughing away.

You should have seen Peter's face. It was priceless :-)

He went from all fours to moving right along.

So I'm guessing that you were holding broccoli and Peter was holding cabbage? That is the only reason I can think of why he would walk in that direction

LOLS, nope.

You'd feed a baby cabbage? Are you into misery? That would make some terrible diapers!

Healthy babies have the dirtiest diapers.

That's true. But I'd rather skip feeding him any high-sulfur foods, just now. He doesn't need any extra help in the stinky diaper department.

If his leg musculature keeps growing like that, he should be jumping like a spider before autumn. It might be wise to keep the leash short for a while.

You should see him kicking in the pool. We did the Infant Self-Rescue course when he turned six months. He's in the pool with me at least once a day. He figured out that he could move if he started kicking. At first he only kicked when he was in his floater vest ring. Then he just started kicking when he was floating about a month or so back. When the quarantine is over, we'll find an ISR instructor to start him on swimming. He loves being in the pool.

We certainly didn't expect him to all of a sudden get so very mobile. We're both watching him like hawks, now, and started closing doors to keep him in the room, just in case. I want to tell you that it was very surprising to find him standing beside me at my desk this morning. He had the biggest smile.
