Yeah, what the fuck is this shit? Tornado 2 days ago, running around in shorts for days before that, now snow on the ground.

If you don't like the weather, just wait a day or so. We're supposed to be back to shorts weather in a couple days.

The old saying here was "if you don't like the weather, then stick around a few days and you'll enjoy it." Absurdly accurate these days.

Edit: I emphasized my regional phrase which I thought interesting versus yours which is only a few hours away

Don't trust my use as common. I've actually never heard anything standardized after "If you don't like the weather, " as it always seems to be a little different. A few hours seems to be most common.

Fascinating in the pacific northwest we say wait 15 minutes. Which during the spring, is frighteningly accurate.

Part of the reason I moved back to the midwest was because I hated the desert and missed weather. Well, the weather gods were prepared and gave me a large dose of weather.
