Trust me. PJ's two lower front's are coming in and we're all going insane. We've tried cold teething toys and almost frozen spoonfuls of his yogurt and nothing is working. Not to mention the chewing and biting when he nurses (yowie!). I'm sooo tired right now.

the chewing and biting when he nurses

Just switch off on nursing duty with the hubby every other day to have some recovery time

There exists a kid's version of Orajel. It might be worth a try, a little dab'll do ya.

I remember the nasty mess that teething causes. Constant drooling, constant runny nose, constant biting of things, unconsolable crying... sometimes I think I miss the baby stage, but it's all rose-colored glasses.

We looked at the ingredients on the non-medicated version and decided not to use it. Last night was much better and PJ finally slept all night again and I feel wonderful this morning.

Oh yes, rose colored glasses make everything look less miserable than it was LOLS

Rub Whisky on the gums. Keep it up until the kid doesn't care about the pain anymore. No,seriously, this was common in the early 20th century.

I've heard that before. Thanks, but we'll pass ;-)

Have you tried giving the kid morphine?

[–] [Deleted] 1 points (+1|-0) 5 years ago

I don't think my husband would go along with that ;-)

What he doesn't know won't hurt him.😁

He knows everything. Besides, he can read anything I post if he has a mind to.

what about some form of CBD oil?

I haven't heard of one that will help for teething. I wonder who downvoted? Very DEAish of them.

It was my understanding that the non thc oil reduced inflammation; hence my curiosity; just trying to work with what we have available.

That's true. But CBD comes in many varieties. Depending on the malady, one oil may be better at relieving the symptoms than another.
