i (and most here) sympathise with the pursuit of a bastion of true free speech but its a really big ask to actually be the one responsible for it and all of the negative consequences of it. if you want it bad enough, be the change you want to see.
If you're looking for a never-ending pure-free-speech political bandwagon like Voat, I'd recommend Poal. Phuks has always had a completely different atmosphere. When politics does come up, we never tolerated it seeping out of the political subs, or misleading sources, or especially blatantly editorialized titles. Overly-heated arguments (that aren't about vegetables) have certainly happened here, but we don't make a habit out of it, because we all value the civilized atmosphere.
This place isn't about being woke or being redpilled, it's about (to me, at least) shitposting and sharing fun/interesting things you find on the internet with a community that isn't toxic or hellbent on screaming their opinions at you. I don't come here to stay up-to-date on what (((they)))TM are up to, I come here to have fun and make stupid jokes for other stupid people.
You don't seem like a bad guy, I think you just came here without fully understanding what we value in this place and what it's about. Lurk moar next time.
