Granted it's summer break here so we have the spare time. It's been searing hot the last week so we've been doing a few hours each morning with no work at all if its close to 40(104F). It's been hard going because of the concrete plinth under the fenceline and the gravelly compacted soil but we are just about done. Feels good, even with the new blisters that came up on top of my old blisters from a couple of days ago.

It's probably too late for this one to post again but I'll add that sub to my top bar and post a pic of the finished fence to it. Just have to wait a couple days now for the posts to set properly because it gets windy here.

Obligatory BUILD THAT WALL!

Good fences make good neighbors.

The back neighbors have been my best ones. I used to talk to the old guy over the back for hours before he passed on. Now his wife is getting senile and they will pass the house onto her son-in-law who is a real prick, so up it goes.

Is the fence a joint effort to separate your property, or the start of your joint fortifications for the coming apocalypse?

Both really. The latter apocalypse being, if I sell or they sell over the back, and we are either of us left with bad neighbors and a low fence. Mainly though its because the old one was falling down.
