I'm at the grocery store, there's a lot of food here but I can't cook anything. What's a nice snack I can pack together with minimal effort? I'm not on a diet and I just got paid, so things are looking pretty good on options today.

Grab you a tortilla, slap a goodly amount of cheese on it, throw in a hotdog and wrap it up. Yes, you need to nuke them.

I'll trade out the hotdog for a nice, plump and spicy bratwurst sausage. Other than that, good meal that I'll have tomorrow since I'm snacking on salami.

Salami, cheese and crackers. Add a pickle or peppers if you're feeling fancy.

So I got some regular hard salami, sharp yellow cheddar, and a sourdough bun! I'm happy about this lunch.

Grab you a tortilla, slap a goodly amount of peanut butter on it, throw some honey on it and wrap it up. Yes, its now ready to eat.

I love me a peanut butter and honey sammich just like the next phukker, but a tortilla sounds like a disservice.

I've tried it before and the biggest complaint I have is texture based. The tortilla is much less spongy and absorbent than regular bread. Which tends to lead the peanut butter to be the dominating texture of thos concoction. And I for one, am not the biggest fan of a mouthful of pure peanut butter.

getting the ratio of peanut butter to tortilla takes practice. i go with juuuuuust thick enough that you can't see through it and get no globs of peanut butter.

but I can't cook anything

You mean you can't cook anything today, right?

In that moment, I wasn't able to go anywhere and cook something. I had to have my lunch from ingredients purchased in the grocery store and eaten on the spot.
