Over the past few weeks, I have seen an insurgence in radical posts on Phuks. The war between cabbage and broccoli. I believe that if we veer off onto one side or the other, we are bound to have conflict.

What I'm aiming towards is a resolution of some sort. I believe that both cabbage and broccoli have advantages and disadvantages. I would like to see the best of both worlds put together into one support group.

I find it extremely dangerous that people are writing dehumanising language about one another. This is tribalism in its worst form! Any reasonable person would know that the path towards peace and prosperity can't be heralded through archaic thinking.

These type of divisions do nothing to unite us and push us forward. We are stuck, debating trivial issues, thinking that people can only belong to either one of two camps. This is unreasonable.

If you take a look at a horseshoe curve, you will see that the ends are closer than the centrist, reasonable option.

That's right! The broccoli and cabbage camp are closer than they would have you believe.

When you think about it, their ideals and tactics are the same. They utilise in intimidation, fear and propaganda. In some cases, they've even come together to unite to form one fringe community against topics they both happen to disagree with.

What are these sides actually fighting over? They basically want the same thing. The only reasonable position to take is a centrist, reasonable, middle of the road belief where a compromise can be made. This type of tribalism is unacceptable in 2018.

The past few weeks were calm. The veggie war is quite not in a heated phase right now.

We'll all need gas masks to avoid the stench if they reach a heated stage.

I've been wondering for a while if this is meant to be political satire or not. On one hand its pretty retarded, but on the other hand its just as retarded as politics. Shrug

Oh for Christ's sake.... brussels sprouts. Best of both worlds. Why is this even a question?

This is just a poor attempt to divide the broccoli supporters. It will not work.
