I vote to keep it: I like to get to work in the morning with some daylight in the winter and use that extra hour of sun in the summer evening to enjoy the summer. Changing the clocks is a small price to pay, most are automatic these days anyway

I understand the sentiment, but personally my body functions better on standard time for some reason. I always struggle through DST season, I'm glad we're back on standard now.

Also, it's not about changing the clocks physically but the alteration of our internal clocks.

I vote we get rid of time once and for all. The sun is a pretty reliable clock.

Seconded. I don't care if Ben Franklin thought it up. Its stupidity.

I'm just tired of adjusting clocks twice a year for minimal gain. Pick one or the other and stay there dang it!

Maybe because I don't have a sense of time it hasn't ever bothered me.

I get tired of resetting all the clocks around the house that don't auto-update.

If we got rid of all the things that made no sense, what would we have to laugh at?

Stupid people trying not to kill themselves without stupid people warnings on products?

We'll always have politicians, blow heart talking heads, and dumb a$$ actors and actresses.

But none of those make any sense either! It's not our fault you have last century clicks that don't adjust, you oldphuk.

BTW, I'm an oldphuk too, and I've always hated the daylight savings time thing.

It's called a watch (yeah I still have one), a brand new stove and microwave, wall clocks, alarm clock, even my dang coffee pot - LOL! Now I have no need for clocks on most of these things, but for some reason, the world thinks I need them. So I'm trapped. Luckily though, most serious electronics self adjust ... it just gets old ... as do I! Now get off mt lawn!

It's absolute absurdity. When my brother first lived in Indiana, part of the state respected daylight savings time and part of the state didn't. What a mess. Florida is voting to abolish it this year, so that will just complicate EST now. Gah. Abolish it!

Yeah, I remember driving across country a few times and some States having it, others not ... it was a serious pain to figure out what time it was depending on where you happened to stop that day.

We can put a man on the moon, but we still can't tell the time

I look forward to the clock rollback every year, it gives me a false sense of victory getting to sleep in an extra hour while feeling like I have an extra hour to get things done. It's fleeting but a simple joy.
