I find it obnoxious that so many sites prompt that and I wish Brave gave a option to permanently disable that option. Did any of you use that for any site? Why?

No. My ideal website is static HTML, not some dystopian dopamine-hit site full of distractions.

Technically, every website is static. That's part of the definition of the code and internet protocols.

Go to about:config and set dom.webnotificationsenabled to false. If you're not using Firefox, download Firefox.

I'll do that for work where I'm forced to use Firefox. At home, Brave is far and away a better option than Firefox

Duolingo does it every day around noon. Bombard only comes up when she posts a new vid so it's irregular.

I'd never hook up with some random news outlet, and they're the ones who ask most often.

It also concerns me I have to respond to pop ups like these, like if I click it may latch on to my IP or something similarly paranoid.

I think it's closed because the last comment links to the open one that they thought was more relevant. Something about 'can't fix it in brave-laptop but brave-core'?

Actually no, I don't use mac. It's pretty normal on windows and android
