It's 2018 and our brave sisters and allies have succeeded in proving beyond moral scrutiny that gender is self determined. It is a horrendously bigoted and ignorant act to reject an individual's felt gender. Gender goes beyond physical traits. If you believe strongly in your righteous heart your connection to a gender then you are that gender.
It's 2018, why are you not a woman yet?
Benefits of claiming to be a woman:
Instant equality utopian dream. The patriarchy is absolutely obliterated overnight. With no more men in our all women society women and women with penises will not be discriminated against based on gender. Everyone is now radically equal.
All of our elected representatives are now women just like the populace. We are accurately represented: 100% of politicians identifying as women for a 100% women population.
Court cases are no longer subject to bias as both parties involved are women. Custody cases are evenly considered because having a mom is a win-win outcome.
Insurance rates are lower for women with penises
We took shards of glass from the glass ceiling and made it into etsy jewelry and windows.
No preferential candidate selection for education or the workforce based on gender anymore. Because we've hit perfect parity in all jobs and fields of study at 100%.
Cons to being a woman: Nothing, but it doesn't address racism inequality so we still have that battle to fight.
For just the cost of one word: man, society could be instantly, measurably, legally, and morally improved. I think it is worth that cost to eliminate all the suffering and fighting with our women without penises friends and family. It's time for all women everywhere and literally everywoman to utilize the tools given to us and follow on the path courageously blazed by gender studies majors to an instant utopia.

I would say this is sarcasm, but it really isn't. It's ironic that when I stopped fighting against the gender studies warriors and embraced their arguments that I found meaningful enlightenment, equality, and utopia just like they promised.
