I think you misunderstand him, saverem. @Boukert doesn't like Hillary either, and considers the two choices we had to be evidence of deeper issues (specifically the two-party nonsense, I think).
He thinks Trump is doing a bad job, and falling back on "well Hillary would have done worse" doesn't excuse things.
@Boukert: I don't understand what you think Trump is doing to dismantle the Constitution. Everything he's done so far are but mild echos of the abuses perpetuated by what we consider to be our greatest presidents.
Criticizing federal judges? Jackson straight-up ignored Supreme Court rulings that didn't go his way, and is popularly quoted as saying "[Chief Justice] John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it."
Anti-immigration? Adams' Alien and Sedition Acts almost tripled the time it took for an alien resident to be naturalized, as well as gave the president unilateral power to deport pretty much any foreigners they felt like.
Reagan mass-deported Mexicans as part of "Operation Wetback", gave amnesty to the rest on the promise that next we'd secure the border so that we would never need another mass-amnesty like that again (that part fell through, and so conservatives want to see that part of the promise fulfilled before discussing DACA).
Belligerent towards the press? The Sedition Act up there also outlawed criticism of the government.
Lincoln basically annexed Nevada into statehood against their will, and suspended Habeous Corpus.
Roosevelt rounded up ethnic Japanese citizens into internment camps during WW2.
The Constitution has been tested in ways far more severe than anything Trump is doing, so I have no fear that he'll break things.
