Welcome! Usually you're just as well going to /all/new as the activity isn't so great that you need to pare it down. As you see subs you like, just subscribe to them from there. Keep in mind that NSFW content is hidden by default, you can change that in the settings... that said, there's not a lot of NSFW content here.
