This is the height of stupid identity politics. Guys want to be girls but when a woman portrays a man it's not fair. Men (not all men of course) have invaded woman-space; i.e., this trans bullshit, men competing as girls in sports and winning because they aren't good enough to beat other men; what a fucked up society humanity has...as much as I wanted grandkids, I'm actually glad I don't have any because of this sickness.

took the words right out of my mouth. When I was 15 (couldve been 14 for all I know), I wanted to be a boy. my parents weren't having it. At all. (Italian/Portugese parents.) however, my grandma was like ;alright. you want to be boy? Ill show you how to be boy. then you decide. capish?' and I was like 'fuck yeah, capish Nonna. lets do this' she made me cut my hair reallly short (I had waist length thick black curly hair.) Made me wear makeup to pretend i had 'facial hair' when we went to the grocery store, and called me her 'grandson, Simon' and then she took pictures of me and her.
when I came back from my grandmas, I was begging my mom to buy me a wig. I didnt want to be a boy. at all.
I still dont, but I wish more people took the approach my nonna did. She saw I was curious, but wasnt making a confident choice. Essentially, she saved me from ALOT that one weekend. Im 24 now, and I swear to God that was one of the best lessons she's ever taught me.
