I like apple wine. Buy a large jug of raw cider, pour in a cup of sugar, add rehydrated bread yeast, put a sandwich bag over the top with a somewhat loose rubber band and wait three weeks. Siphon the top 90% into a new container and enjoy. I actually know how to brew beer properly but this is a fun exercise and cheap as hell. It goes really good in hooch. Add fruit, cran-apple juice, everclear, and apple wine.
