lol can't make this shit up. People are incredibly tribalistic. That is the only way you can explain the hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance that would result if they held everyone to the same standard instead of only their opponents.

I think I saw an episode of the view where whoopi was criticizing mel gibson for saying something along the lines of "jews run hollywood". The woman literally and admittedly changed her name to Goldberg b/c she thought it would help her get work. I've heard all the mel gibson tapes before. Considering all the various people hes worked with in his career I'd wager he's just an angry alcoholic and much more mellow when sober. Meanwhile this woman literally changed her name sober and has never changed it back.
