The day we respect straight men who don't fit their gender role, is the day we've finally achieved social gender equality. I don't agree with this article's idea of how we should achieve it, but rigidly enforced gender roles do need to die. And I mean "die," not "be reversed."

The pendulum always seems to swing too far in the other direction instead of reaching the correct median...

What needs to happen is that the pendulum needs to break. There should be no dichotomy between the roles of men and women; people should just be themselves and not be judged for it, as long as they're not hurting anyone.

Agree. Unfortunately most humans seem incapable rejecting/accepting ideas in part: it is either full agreement in a direction or total rejection. Both extremes look completely idiotic and they're too busy yelling at each other to realize how wrong they both are.
