I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, that's an enormous catfish. On the other hand, he didn't personally catch it--his trotline did. But he did set it up. I don't know. How do they judge multi-hooked rigs on the end of a normal fishing pole, like a crappie rig?

They seem to not consider trotline fishing to be a "sport fishing" method.

When 'reporters' attempt to 'report' on real life things... sigh
It is trotline, not trout line, and if that is a legal means of catching fish in the state, the record should be valid. That is BS.
