Got up to have a look ... it's been clear as a bell all week, not this morning - LOL. Typical, I guess, but we were overcast for the big event and I saw nothing. I'll have to see it in the pics I guess.

I got to catch some of the beginning of it. However I vastly underestimated how long totality would be (Spent my whole lunch break outside freezing my ass off). Of course then when it was finally time to emerge, a high altitude cloud bank had rolled in. So unfortunately I missed the whole blood moon thing.
It was 14% closer than its average distance.
Dont tell me what to do.
