The BBC aren't reporting it because there are protesters outside the BBC.

Edit 2: This is fucking bizarre, I have never seen a media blackout like this, it is so blatant.

Edit 3: Twitter is being scrubbed. A shit ton of tweets just got erased.

reminds me of when a huge crowd of protesters protested cnn and neither they nor anybody else covered it.

It is going to make the protests worse. As far as I can tell, there are at least 5 separate ones taking place already and the crowds will only get bigger. If this shitty response from the government carries on there will be riots.
