The Telegraph has been pissing me off. Every time you look at an article on there, you get a full screen overlay after a few seconds that will appear shaming you into turning off your adblocker. So I finally cracked and used Stylish to block the css:
.adblocker-message.component {display:none !important;}
Then I had an idea. Adblockers are not perfect, and there are things that they do not block. I started looking at Google's tutorials for embedding ads on sites, and added "display:none" to all of the html classes listed on there.
Could we crowdsource this? If any of us finds something shitty on a page, could we have a sort of public pastebin to add the html class to so we can all add a global block to it? This could even work with specific sites too. In the past, I have used Stylish to remove the featured videos on xHamster because I never click on any of them and they just waste space on the page.
What I'm trying to say is: I want a Phuks public pastebin feature to crowdsource improvements for my fapping experience.
