So on a particularly dull day, two of my buddies and I decide to go to an amusement park about an hour away, outside Chicago for the day. I drove, which was odd because my car is the sketchiest between us at driving any sort of distance.

We were very bored on the drive so one of my buddies called up a friend of his in Chicago to pick up some weed. He told us to go to a pharmacy store and his buddy would meet us there because he was working. After a bit of waiting a guy came in and offered us some pot. He pulled out a bag of super shitty weed which we were very disappointed with and haggled him down to a very cheap price. After the transaction, he got a big smile on his face and told us he is an undercover officer and we were under arrest. After a half hour of sitting around waiting for the cops to pick us up and the undercover officer threatening us, he told us we got lucky that the deal was too small to be worth their time that day and that we could go.

When we left, there was a news van broadcasting and we heard them talking about efforts to close the store because drug transactions took place there so frequently. Not wanting any more bullshit on this misadventure, we hightailed it out of there.

We decided to go to a nearby mall to walk around for a while to settle down. While walking, I notice a cute chick working at a smoothie place in a ridiculous uniform. I give her a smile and she looks back scathingly. Confused, I continue on and we stumble across my buddy's friend who couldn't sell us weed because he was working. He was very embarrassed when we came up to him because evidently nobody knew he works at one of those booths in malls that try to sign people up for crappy, spammy marketing type stuff. We were pissed at him because we thought he had tried to set us up but he explained that when his buddy got there to meet with us the news was filming outside so he decided to leave. After some chatting, we came to the conclusion that because the officer never showed a badge and the setup seemed so poorly done that it was actually the TV station setting us up and they were trying to film how easy it was to buy and sell drugs there and the cops were never actually involved.

One of my buddies went with this working guy out to his car to get some weed for us while my other buddy and I continued walking around. We were walking a while, wondering what was taking so long when our buddy came bounding up to us in a big Dr. Pepper soda cup costume, looking absolutely ridiculous. He told us that he couldn't get any weed but did find this costume. We came to the conclusion that this adventure had officially hit rock bottom and that we should just go home. We tell my buddy to have some dignity and take off his ridiculous costume and start heading to an exit.

We round a corner and right in front of us is the cute girl from the smoothie place, pointing a gun at our heads. She mentions that one too many customers had laughed at her in her costume that day so she decided to rob everyone who laughed at her. Telling her I just smiled because I thought she was cute and that my friend had just been wearing a much more embarrassing costume was not a good enough response and she took all our money and stuff and even took our shoes before she let us go.

We keep going, very pissed off, trying to find the exit in this labyrinth of a mall that we had never been to before. Eventually we find an exit but it is blocked by a crowd of scared looking people. We push our way to the front of the crowd to find the smoothie girl, again, robbing more people. When she saw us she became enraged, thinking we had followed her. While one of my buddies was trying to explain it was a coincidence, I noticed she was distracted so I snatched her gun out of her hand. I immediately noticed the gun is actually made of plastic and laugh. We took our money and shoes back and left heroes.
