I read this today and while it's against my sensibilities, fine, if that's what they want. But it does leave the question, how did this poor kid die? After all, he was "just 18 years old when he died."
Was it leukemia? Was he hit by a bus? No.
His mother states that " her son was a bit of a homebody, who only recently started to venture out to walk the dog she'd recently gotten him."
I'll take that as gospel and assume he was a nice kid walking his dog around 9:40 pm (which isn't a crazy time to walk a dog in most neighborhoods) and was shot in the head for his cell phone.
My point is, that these stories (I also saw it on the Sporting News), innocent kid murdered (at best),, shouldn't be passed off as "Celtics fan's wake".
