For some reason, if I click on an invidious.snopyta.org link, I get taken to an error response page like so:

This site can’t be reached

The webpage at https://invidious.snopyta.org/watch?v=ieV9A1u1Bio might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERRINVALIDRESPONSE

However, if I open a new tab and paste in the address, it works fine. WTF

snopyta has been unreliable recently. Good thing that there are lots of other decentalized instances. That is the whole point, after all.

I just find it strange how clicking the link fails 100% of the time but pasting the link works 100% of the time /shrug

Maybe they're detecting referral? Not sure why their server code would care though.

I am not fond of the "Conservatives have all the guns so a Civil War would be over pretty quick" line of argumentation. The left does not like personal ownership of guns, but right now they're authoritarian enough agree the government should have guns while dealing with conservatives. Defund The Police notwithstanding. They have enough youths that will eagerly go through a quick boot camp and come out ready to smash the Kulak menace. There is no embargoing the coasts; the world will gleefully shower the blue cities with all the goods they need. At ruinous interest rates.
